Production Manager
Bobbi Pacheco exemplifies hard work and dedication. An agency new hire to Electrocube in 2010, she began in the winding room. With a love of learning and a committed work ethic, Bobbi moved to the stockroom, then to shipping and receiving supervisor, then to Production Coordinator, and ultimately, to Production Manager in May 2020.
“Nothing makes me happier than when everything is on time and the customer is content,” Bobbi says of her role. As the Production Manager, her team ensures that electric component orders are produced to customer specification and to Electrocube’s quality standards for on-time delivery.
Learning how everything comes together is what drove Bobbi’s curiosity to learn about Electrocube’s full process – from materials to end-user. “The winding machines are what originally intrigued me because the winding room is where Electrocube production begins,” according to Bobbi. “To put it simply, it’s where we take all kinds of raw materials and begin to wind the Electrocube magic to create what will become quality capacitors.”
What does she like best about being a part of Electrocube? “I love working with my team – these people who all have this great dedication to do their best. It’s very satisfying. My favorite thing is to get together with the supervisors, coordinate exactly what we need and when we need it, then watch everyone work together to make it happen,“ Bobbi says.
Working up through the ranks with commitment, hard work and innate leadership abilities are the hallmark of Bobbi’s diverse career path. In her first job at an El Pollo Loco at age 15, she worked her way up to a management position in just eight years. This path is a pattern that repeats throughout her work life, including eight years at Shell Oil Company where she became Complex Manager and five years at another manufacturing firm where, again, she worked her way up the ranks to a supervisory role. After a tough, three-year period of unemployment prompted by the recession, Bobbi chose to join an agency that led to her position at Electrocube, a varied journey that proves her natural resilience. “I don’t have a big education background,” Bobbi says. “All my experience has come from hard work and dedication.”
What keeps her moving forward? “Nothing makes me happier than my family,” according to Bobbi. Married for 25 years, the Pacheco family includes three grown children, a daughter-in-law, a granddaughter, and two dogs: Lucky, a Chihuahua mix, and Buddy, a boxer. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Bobbi likes to cook and attend concerts with her middle daughter in her spare time. What’s her favorite movie? The Pachecos are big fans of the Marvel universe, and Bobbi admits, “I’m partial to Ironman.”
